Job title : Data Analyst Location : Durham, NC Contract Length : 6 Months Job Description: The candidate will be required to analyze data requirements for Data Warehouse and Data mart initiatives and build logical and physical data models to satisfy these requirements. As part of the role the analyst will need to analyze source systems and document business rules, transformations and data dictionary. The candidate must be outwardly focused and constantly aware of the industry trends in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. This will enable the candidate to recommend new features and technologies that will enhance our Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence capabilities. The candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of Data Warehouse Architectures and methodologies and must have strong working knowledge of the following areas within the data warehousing life-cycle: * Logical/Physical Data Modeling * Data Integration (ETL, Change Data Capture, etc) * Business Intelligence tools and capabilities A good understanding of the following areas within Data Warehouses is preferred. * Metadata management * Data Quality Responsibilities: * Designs an information strategy that maximizes the value of data as an enterprise asset * Maintains logical/physical data models * Documents the business and model metadata associated with the application * Develops technical design documents * Develops and communicates data standards * Maintains Data Quality metrics * Supports the build out of the Data Warehouse, Data Marts and operational data store * Effectively communicates with other technology and product team members Qualifications/Certifications: * Strong understanding of data integration concepts * Strong Data Modeler with experience in 3NF and Dimensional Models * Ability to translate functional requirements into technical design specifications * Ability to develop technical design documents and test case documents * Financial Services Industry experience is essential * Project Solution experience is desired Recommended Training: * Modeling Packages * Data Warehouse Development Please send me your Updated Resume and these details ASAP: Full Name: Contact No: E-mail ID: Availability: Visa Status/Citizenship: Current Location: Rate: Please feel free to contact me for further information.
