ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: Location: Minneapolis, MN Duration: 6-12 Months Rate: $50/hr All Inclusive Primary responsibilities: - Design, develop and test code - Represent the team in spec review and design sessions. - Participate in the development of Big X, migration, or general application features. - Translate bug reports (i.e. Trackers, emailed issues) into workable solutions. -Translate functional requirements provided in documentation into development tasks - Verify work in various environments. - Timely communicate status of active assignments to all stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate. - Provide accurate estimates of the development work involved. - Work with onsite and offsite developers/contractors. Skills required: - Working knowledge of XML and XSLT - Working knowledge of OO and Java - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Strong technical expertise. - Ability to mentor and share technical expertise - Working knowledge of XMLSpy and RAD 7.0, and TFS (Team Foundation Server) is preferred. - Experience with relational databases and tools: Oracle, DB2, AQT, SQL is preferred. - Knowledge of internet communications: HTTP, HTTPS, secured sockets is preferred. - Knowledge of webservices and J2EE design patterns is preferred Please call me if you have any questions.
