Job title : Web Developer with ASP.NET Location : Nutley, NJ Contract Length : 3 months + Job Description: ASP.Net -Java Script, VBScript Web Developer The CustomerDataWarehouse Alignment module is a web based application (as opposed to a simple information display website) and hence strong interactive web application development Skills are a prerequisite. . HTML, CSS (or DOM Document Object Model) and JavaScript are absolutely essential. . IIS, Classic ASP . Heavy emphasis on ASP.NET, VBScript, Oracle SQL . The developer needs good knowledge of VBScript as most of our ASP applications use VBScript for the server side code. Also, the majority of third part code for IIs is in VBScript. . Finally, all the CDW data is in an Oracle database, so the developer needs a good understanding of Oracle SQL and any tools for checking/accessing the Oracle database (e.. SQL developer). . For the CDW Alignment application, there is no need for any Oracle Stored procedures. . The manager generally avoids stored procedures - unless speed is absolutely critical since it allows me to keep all my code and SQL queries in one place.
