Job Classification: Database Analyst Position Description: Experience Level: 4 year degree plus 5-7 years experience. Description: Designs, tests, implements, maintains, and controls the organization's physical, relational, and object-oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments. Participates in the development of data architectures and database management policies and standards. Provides in-depth consulting services in the identification and resolution of database issues. Participates in the planning, design, and usage of data resources. May develop detailed data models and entity relationship diagrams. Provide DBA services for Oracle and SQL Server databases in Dev, QA and UAT environments. Perform application installs, upgrades, performance monitoring and tuning of database queries. Perform problem analysis and resolution.
