Job title : FileNet P8 Architect/Developer Location : Akron Ohio Contract Length : 3+ Months Position Requirements: - Seeking an individual to work on a major FileNet P8 project that involves in-depth knowledge of P8's Content Manager, Records Manager, and BPM technologies as well as Java development experience. - This position requires no less than 4 years of experience with these P8 modules, experience with P8/Java developing and customizing workflows, excellent analysis and development skills, and the ability to work independently as needed. Duties: - Assist with the development of a major P8 application which includes the development of CM objects and customized workflows using Java (BPM). - Work with the P8 development team to understand business requirements and objectives and provide input and recommendations on how best to use P8 to effectively meet those. - Mentor other team members in areas of P8 and Java they are less familiar, and ensure that all work assigned is on time and on schedule. Qualifications: - Minimum of four years development, design, and implementation experience with FileNet P8 with a focus on Content Manager, Records Manager, and BPM running in a Microsoft - Server environment with an Oracle back end. - Minimum of three years application development experience using Java, including experience on the complete development life cycle of a medium to large project. - Minimum two to three years of analysis skills used to effectively resolve technical problems and identify and implement process improvements. - Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a production support environment. Additional Qualifications: - Excellent oral and written communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or the equivalent. Proven team player contributes to team goals, Encourages and supports team members. - Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and plan work, works on multiple concurrent tasks, and meet deadlines. - Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects, aptitude to learn quickly. Highly motivated; experience in working independently with a high level of productivity. - Ability and willingness to travel to Company sites and work flexible hours as required.
