Job Title: Web / UI Designer Primary Skills: Web Designer, Information Architect or User Interface Designer Start Date: 10/15/2008 Duration: 12+ Months Number Of Openings: 1 Location: Cleveland (Downtown) OH Rate: Open Job Description: Interaction design and implementation 1) Create diagrams and visual interpretations of user stories, use cases and business requirements to get early buy-in from th! e business and tech teams. 2) Take the documents and diagrams created above and create functional prototypes using xhtml, css, and customized javascript functions utilizing the Prototype JS library and Scriptaculous to illustrate the primary and secondary flows of a task (e.g., scheduling 1 bill pay, scheduling multiple bill pay, deleting a bill pay, modify a bill pay, erroring on a bill pay, etc). 3) Work with the tech team to hone the javascript created above to make it work within the existing JSP code framework. 4) Assist with testing and troubleshooting the javascript, css and the JSPs. Be sure that the JSPs are coded to W3C standards. UI Redesign / Design Skills 1) Create PhotoShop mockups of the page based on the current Key.com/Sapient specifications to get early buy-in from the business and tech teams. They will help the tech team formulate their tech specs. 2) Create images (backgrounds, icons) as needed and modify the CSS within our ho! megrown content management system. 3) Assist with testing and trou bleshooting to fix UI issues via our CMS. The ideal candidate would have experience in form design and is eager to look at Online Banking with a fresh perspective. The UI designer/developer must conduct industry research and stay current on best practices, competitor UI designs, and emerging technologies. The position is temp-to-perm.
