IT Service Desk Engineer - 10+ month contract located in Plano, TX
This is a Technical engineering position. DO NOT SEND Help Desk Analyst or
Help Desk Process resumes.
IT Service Desk Engineer or technical job function to help provide support
of the HP Peregrine / Service Center Infrastructure while assisting the team
with implementation of HP Service Manager v7.x.
*Practical experience and understanding of ITIL framework process areas such
as,*
(a). Incident Management,
(b). Problem Management,
(c). Change Management,
(d.) Request Management,
(e) Service Catalog,
(f) Service Level Management,
(g). Configuration Management,
(h). Knowledge Management.
*Required Qualifications:*
5+ years experience developing and supporting tools and/or applications in a
large, complex, multi-customer IT organization
Undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or
Math preferred
*Minimum Job Requirements:*
Superb technical skills with installation, configuring, and management of HP
Peregrine v4/v5/v6, HP Service Manager technology v7.x, ConnectIT, and
SDKAUto.
Superb analysis and troubleshooting skills
Infrastructure and Application development experience, baseline support
experience, demonstrated customer communication skills, and excellent
interpersonal communications
Previous experience with IT Service Management deployment or initiatives
Good Team leadership and management skills
ITIL Foundation certified or equivalent experience
Experience with Project Lifecycle Methodologies
