Responsible for designing and developing datawarehouse solutions. Design,
develop and support Teradata physical databases; Support the appropriate SQL
engines; Develop and support the Logical Data Model extensions. Requires
knowledge of data warehouse implementation process from business
requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data
sourcing and data transformation, data loading, SQL, end-user tools and SQL
performance tuning. Requires technical degree in computer science with a
database concentration or related discipline, and 5 to 7 years related
experience. Specialty assignments include Data Modeling/Mining, Data
Transformation, Information Discovery, etc.;

*This position is for a data modeler. The candidate will be modeling tax data.
While experience with tax data is a plus the candidate must be able to work
with the customer to determine the business rules, make them understand the
information needed and why it is needed. Customer interfacing skills are
critical. The candidate should be an expert at using Erwin. *All travel
expenses must be included in the rate bid. This is a Monday - Friday
engagement. Access to state systems will only be via a state desktop
computer on-site. The location is in Annapolis, MD.
