This person should possess expertise and be experienced in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing development projects. This is a project to empower business decision makers to make better decisions from information gained through business intelligence, by expanding the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) to include additional performance measures and analytical data. The purpose of the Balanced Scorecard project is to implement an automated Balanced Scorecard business intelligence application to monitor progress towards achieving the objectives defined in the Strategic Plan. This includes building a business intelligence infrastructure to gather information regarding the data elements comprising the performance measures, and reports of their ongoing status. Release 1 of the BSC was completed in December 2008 and delivered the framework for the BSC, along with 23 operational performance measures. Release 2 will continue to build the BSC with up to 18 additional performance measures and analytical data integrated into the Enterprise Data Warehouse. This person should possess expertise and be experienced in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing development projects. Specifically, we are seeking assistance with: 1. Interview business users and Data Stewards to gather and document requirements for BSC performance measures, logical data models, and supporting data artifacts. 2. Participation in the design, development, and implementation of Release 2 of Balanced Scorecard application using the BI infrastructure and tools described below. 3. Create logical relational and dimensional data models where required. Work with Data Analysts and database administration staff in translating logical data models into physical data models. 4.
