Job title : Seebyond Architect Location : Sacremento, CA Contract Length : 2 Years ARCHITECT : Maverick’s client in Sacramento requires a consultant to provide Middleware Application Architect services (Web Services, J2EE, JMS, EAI, MQ, BPEL/Process orchestration, etc). Assumptions agreed to by Client and the consulting firm relative to the work being performed during the course of the engagement. Consultant will be available after-hours and weekends as required. This work will be billed as straight time. Consultant will be available for the duration of the contract. The Key Personnel must meet the following additional minimum qualifications. Must have at least 6 years of in-depth IT experience in Systems Design, Development, Testing, Integration, and Implementation of Client Server and web-based n-tier architectures. Must have at least 6 years of Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) experience using a combination of SeeBeyond and Sun JCAPS technologies such as e*Gate and e*Xchange. Must have at least 4 years experience in the design/build of web services based on the Tomcat/Axis stack. Must have at least 4 years experience using SOAP, WSDL/UDDI, XML, XSL(XSLT, XPath), RDF, BPEL, and BPEL4WS. Must have at least 4 years experience with MitemView, EntireX, and CORBA technologies. Must have at least 4 years experience with the implementation of business standards such as SWIFT, HIPAA X12. Must have at least 4 years experience with J2EE standards and technologies such as EJB, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, Servlets, and JSP. Must have at least 4 years experience with Oracle relational databases up to 10g. Must have solid experience with Red Hat Linux, HPUX, and Windows, with at least 2 years in Red Hat Linux. Must possess a solid understanding of Requirement Analysis, Workflow, Software Configuration Management, and Message Oriented Middleware. Must possess a solid understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and implementation. Experience with CLIENTs’ SeeBeyond or JCAPS application framework is desirable but not required. PROJECT SCOPE/TASKS The scope of this project encompasses the following tasks: Lead the design and build activities of the Enterprise Service Bus /SOA /Integration Architecture (Web Services, J2EE, JMS, EAI, MQ, and BPEL/Process Orchestration). Provide architectural guidance pertaining to Java Application server technologies using SeeBeyond eGate 4.5.3 and Sun JCAPS. Design/develop/maintain common framework components for distributed and highly scalable A2A and B2B middleware solutions that include, but may not be limited to the following: Ø Routing Ø Transformation Ø Error and exception handling Ø Caching Ø Configuration Ø Queuing Ø Object pooling Design/build/maintain reusable enterprise integration patterns and a reference implementation for common patterns. Review application and technical architecture deliverables throughout design and development to ensure quality and requirements traceability. Support application and technical architecture testing. Provide training/mentoring to technical staff. Attend project, staff, and management meetings as required. Provide status reports as required.
