*Database Upgrade project for Oracle11i application will include the upgrade of the following components*: Oracle database upgrade from 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.4 Discoverer Web upgrade from 10.1.2.48 to 10.1.2.55 Migrate from Jinitator to Sun JRE 1.6. Developer 6i upgrade from 6.0.8.27 to 6.0.8.28 Job Description: (What will the contractor do on that project?) Successful candidate will assume the responsibilities of upgrading the mission critical Oracle eBusiness suite application from Oracle 9.2.0.8 to 10.2.0.4 Along with other DBAs in the team the candidate will provide 24x7 technical / administrative role in the area of database administration, performance tuning, and maintenance of the Multi- Node Oracle Financials application system, as well as assist with tuning, documentation and other support activities. Skill requirements include solid knowledge and experience of Oracle Applications and core DBA duties.
