TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST Location: MI Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $42/hr ------------------------------------- Required Info:- Last 5# of Social Security: Interview availability: Start availability: Local or Non Local: Previous Blue Cross or Blue Care experience and manager name and timeframe worked there/contractor or direct: --------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Enterprise architecture, new technology implementation, research and evaluation of emerging technologies, strategic technology planning, consulting, software validation, e-business support. Skills/Experience: . Roll-up-your-sleeves, day-to-day type of experience . Working technical experience in a quality observing system (NICE service observing preferred). . Experience in completing traffic analysis across multiple voice platforms. . Experience with handling a vender relationship while holding accountability. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:. 1. With general guidance and coaching, participates in design, development and implementation of specific new and emerging technologies, platforms and services. 2. Assists in the assessment of technical viability of new products and technologies. 3. Works with developers and infrastructure specialists to pilot and evaluate new technologies. 4. Participates in development of business cases and obtaining approvals for capital expenditures. 5. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 1. Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred. 2. Minimum three (3) to five (5) years related experience preferred.
