SOX compliance manager to audit all Rate Change Notices and validate
effective dates of same in systems. This work is required for SOX audit
purposes. The other major responsibility is the management of all GSPM
contracts.This work is critical as this contractor is responsible for
checking every rate change notification that is sent to a Wholesale Carrier
during a month against what the system shows as the rate offer and confirm
the rates match as well as the effective dates. This is a Sarbanes-Oxley
requirement that has been audited annually. The RCN verification must be
completed and certified quarterly. In 2008, GSPM has been audited 2 times so
far. We have passed each audit due to the work that a contractor has
performed.
