This candidate will serve as part of the team performing system testing for GEMINI. . This individual will have to be able to design, understand, test, and troubleshoot complex network security deployments. . Testing the system requires using the system, i.e. being a security analyst - analyzing, correlating, and evaluating data from various sources to detect, identify, characterize and validate security relevant activity. . Valid test plans must be authored and executed to validate the systems features (both regression test and new feature/functionality test) as part of each release cycle. . The candidate must have analytical skills, and the ability to perform advanced problem determination, resolution, and analysis. . The candidate will work with senior team members and investigating technologies to define, create, and improve methods, procedures, algorithms, data structures and automation to accomplish this analysis. . Technical understanding of secure IP networks, highly specialized security applications and the software development lifecycle is required. . Effective communication is required. . The candidate must be able to work across a diverse and highly technical organization that focuses on developing leading edge technology solutions. . Tier Support - Provide tier 3/4 support to resolve issues encountered in Production security systems. . In some cases remote workers will need support with root cause analysis, trouble resolution, executing routines, escalation and interfacing with development team. Perform analysis to identify anomalies. . Develop automated processes to reduce time-consuming manual work. . Provide Operations groups with new methods that eliminate chronic problems.
