Messaging Group is in the process of migrating their environment from Exchange 5.5 & 2003 to Exchange 2007. Couple of key things they are looking for but so far are not seeing: 1. Candidate must be coming out of a large multi-national company. At least 10,000 - 15,000 users. New level of complexity kicks in at this level. 2. They are seeing a lot of admins but not exchange engineers. They need an engineer. 3. The person needs to be able to take an assignment and know what tasks need to be done. Not looking for someone who has had his tasks delegated to him. This person needs to create the tasks and complete what needs to be done. The manager is anxious to hire and will be reviewing resumes immediately. Primary responsibility is to analyze problems and design/implement solutions to support overall infrastructure of a large email network including email connectivity systems, gateways and external connections, companion products and interfaces. Monitor and tune products to peak performance. Work with other technology domains (e.g. Mainframe, Networking & remote LAN administrators) to resolve product problems. Test and implement new releases and fixes.
