Knowledge of Secdb a strong plus Server side and/or GUI development available Take responsibility for development, testing, and migration of longer term, global development projects as well as ongoing enhancements and support/maintenance of the production environment. Commitment to developing in a test-driven environment – entails building automated unit tests & system tests to run successfully in a development, QA, & staging environment with bi-weekly production installs. *Interaction* *with business users – primarily Funding Desk, Funding Operations, and GS Bank* *EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:** *Between 3-5 years of application development experience with strong technical skills in the following areas: C++ and/or Java programming (assuming experience with C) Knowledge of Secdb preferred Relational database and SQL Unix including shell scripting Experience with agile development a plus, knowledge of inter-process communication a plus Strong analytical skills, problem solver Highly motivated – ability to take initiative and ownership Excellent communication skills – written and verbal Experience and knowledge in the financial industry including repo trading & sales or funding required.
