** *Title: Ruby on Rails Developer (US CITIZENS OR GC OR EAD ONLY)* *Location: Sacramento, CA* *Duration: 6 months* *Rate: $40/hr* ** Position Summary : Ruby on Rails developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining both private (internal) and public (external) facing Rails-based web sites Qualifications/Skills: • Extensive experience developing Ruby and Rails applications. • Must have proven experience developing complex software applications and scalable enterprise systems in Ruby and Rails. • Ability to develop from functional requirements, use cases and architecture models created using UML and related technologies. • Extensive knowledge of object-oriented development methodologies a must. • Strong automated development unit testing background. • Test Driven Development experience preferred. • Strong relational database background using Oracle 10g RDBMS.
