Duration : 6 months - 1+ year Location: Charlotte, NC Rate : $40/hr Capacity Manager with SAS Look for BMC Performance Assurance Tools SAS Experience needed Should be capable of making proactive capacity planning decisisons to mitigate the risks and rationalize the optiomal amount of hardware, software and network resources to meet our LOBS service level requirements ina timely and cost effective manner. Is also responsible for developing, maintaining, recommending, documenting, and supporting tools and backend utilities used by the team to do capacity planning and performance management. Interfaces with other systems management and engineering organizations, applications, vendor, and technical staff in support of business requirements and service level objectives. Provides assessment, documentation, prioritization and execution of existing and required tools, the methodologies and task plans to meet the LOB's capacity planning requirements. Acts to reslove system performance problems and develops trend analyses to predict capacity requirements. Requirements : 3-5 yrs advanced adminsitration - UNIX platform experience 1-3 yrs capacity planning exp in UNIX, LINUX, and Windows platforms Expertise utlizing UNIX OS line commends for performance analysis. Experience with industry standard capacity/modeling tools Excutive presentation- Excellent verbal, written communication skills and organizational skills Self motivated, works well in a team environment or independently.
