Here is what they are looking for and here is the resume of the girl they just hired. You can use her resume as the measuring stick. Required skills set- 7+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter. Experience with version 8 a plus. Excellent understanding of ETL best practices/methodologies (slowly changing dimensions, lookups, deployment groups, versioning, parameter files, etc). Excellent Oracle database experience (materialized views vs. regular views, indexing, partitioning, best practices, etc). Oracle OLAP functions knowledge/hands-on-use experience a strong plus. Good database dimension modeling (for a datawarehouse - star/snowflake/etc) experience. Exposure to Autosys scheduler or similar scheduling clients/softwares. Experience in working in a Financial group (database, data mart/warehouse) a strong plus. Excellent communication skills. Current environment- Using Informatica version 8.1.1 on Windows server.
