------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Job Title : Software Quality Engineer Location(State/city):California CA/Others Duration: 2+ months Required Details: Job Duties: Conducts root cause analysis on specific project areas,Determines the need for - and provides - QSR compliance and SQA support ,Ensures appropriate review of software products ,Identifies and documents noncompliance ,Implements improvements in processes, standards, and procedures,Performs in-process and phase end assessments,Provides Part 11 compliance support ,Supports SW development validation lifecycle ,Facilitates and participates in qualification of acquired SW and SW tools Skill Sets: Description: The primary objective will be to support Software Quality Assurance testing and validation projects, and Initiatives managed by the Quality Department to help meet objectives in delivering highest quality products, with supporting tools and systems (product software, manufacturing software, R&D software tools, etc.). Responsibilities will include interfacing with a broad range of cross-functional and cross-facility personnel, and leading/executing software and systems testing and validation projects of small/medium scope in the role of "Software Quality Assurance test engineer". Project execution will require the utilization of software testing and documentation skills. Project execution also requires that the candidate demonstrate significant interpersonal skills, interfacing with individuals from various departments such as R&D, Marketing, Quality Engineering, and Production. Responsibilities: 1.Manage software and system testing projects of small/medium scope that require basic software testing, documentation, and Project Management skills and participate in larger projects to drive proactive quality and safety throughout the organization. 2.Use knowledge of Medtronic product requirements to test for correct product performance and to identify, report, and verify corrections of anomalies. 3.Use knowledge of Medtronic processes to prepare test protocols, execute test cases, and document results in test reports. 4.Use knowledge of national and international requirements and standards such as FDA QSR Part 820, ISO 14971, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and others. ****Need Face to Face Interview AND LOCALS are Highly Preferred*** -- Regards, Gautam Thakuria _______________________________ SR.
