Position: PHP Developer
Location: St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands
Duration: 6 + months
Specific responsibilities include:
a.. Working closely with end-users to determine functional requirements
b.. Owning the end-to-end process of feature implementation from conception
to release
c.. Providing production support for existing systems and applications
d.. Upgrading our existing, web-based CRM system
e.. Contributing to the development of new, customer-facing web sites
f.. Improving the overall efficiency of our operations by creating a
variety of tools, applications, and reports for our users
Qualifications:
a.. Expert in PHP and/or mySQL development
b.. Experience with PERL development a plus
c.. Strong web application design skills
d.. Strong database skills, focusing on data mining and reporting
e.. Experience in an energy-related field would be highly desirable
f.. HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript knowledge
g.. AJAX experience a plus
