******Immediately Needed A Consultant****** Job Title : System Administrator, Location : Thousand Oaks , CA Duration : 6+ Month Contract Rate : OPEN Job Purpose/ Description: Senior System Administrator with strong experience in the Solaris operating system to provide operational support for the Unix group. Provide support for virtualization of the Solaris server infrastructure. Develop documentation for the support of the physical to virtual infrastructure. Work with clients and other groups to troubleshoot hardware and operating system issues. Work with Amgen teams to add additional capabilities and functions to the physical-to-virtual infrastructure (including backups, monitoring and performance). Perform training to peer Unix system administrators relevant support of the physical to virtual infrastructure. The consultant will support the ISI Manager to meet the deliverables. They will report to the vendor Team Lead who is responsible for tracking and conveying reporting requirements to vendor. Required Skills: Must be experienced and technically proficient with Solaris 10 and Sun virtualization technology. High Availability solutions such as Veritas Cluster Server and Veritas Volume Manager. Required Experience/Education: 8+ years of strong background in Sun hardware and Solaris operating systems.
