The QA Project Lead will be responsible for strategy, planning and execution
of the functional and performance testing of a custom developed JAVA based
web application.
Job Responsibilities:
* Defining the overall test approach and strategy.
* Leading the effort to analyze functional specifications and business
process models and develop comprehensive functional, UAT and performance
test plans.
* Oversight of the selection, implementation and use of functional and
performance test automation tools and processes.
* Overall project planning including resource planning, establishing
timelines, setting priorities and assigning work.
* Ensuring maintenance and availability of the test environment.
* Effectively communicating project status, risks and mitigation strategies
to management.
* Managing day-to-day client interaction.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* 8+ years of QA experience.
* 3+ years experience in managing QA projects including experience in
complete quality delivery from requirements analysis through delivery to
production.
* In-depth understanding of the software development life-cycle process
(SDLC) and the effective integration of the quality assurance life-cycle.
* Expertise in the latest best practices of testing and test automation for
both functional and performance testing.
* Experience in establishing effective processes for Defect Management.
* Strong project management skills including communication, organization,
visioning and leading teams.
* Experience in human resource management and the ability to raise the skill
level of the team to meet the needs of the project.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience in benefits administration systems is preferred.
