Reply ASAP Location(State/city):New Jersey NJ/JERSEY CITY Duration: 6+ months Req Details: **Sr. QA Lead** Will need to possess 5 - 10 years of software quality assurance required along with 5 - 10 years of experience working for a trading company, exchange or trading industry vendor required. Prior experience testing options trading applications, such as middleware request routing systems, or exchange matching engines. Prior experience testing non-web based .NET or other thick client applications. Ability to use SQL for data verification purposes. Experience testing in a Citrix environment. Clear understanding of Software Testing Lifecycle. Clear understanding of Software Development Lifecycle. Ability to work in rapid application development or agile development environments; ability to deliver results on time in an iterative development cycle is a requirement. Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach. Self motivated and ability to work independently or in a group setting. Able to work with both a remote office and local office. Must be able to learn and apply new skills quickly, and efficiently determine how to address and perform tasks that are not within the scope of prior experience. Must be able to prioritize and work on multiple project assignments simultaneously. Willingness to design and execute both manual and automated tests. Exposure to non-commercial tools for the automation of functional tests. Familiarity with one or more high level programming languages such as C, C++, VB etc. Familiarity with at least one scripting languages such as PERL, etc. Knowledge of performance testing .NET and/or other applications a plus. Experience working with defect tracking software; Mercury Quality Center is a plus. Required technical skills include SQL (preferably PL/SQL, Oracle 9i or later), .NET (ASP.NET and VB.NET), dependency-based batch scheduling (preferably Autosys). Nice to have skills are Crystal Reports, VB 6.0 (legacy), Java and/or Java Server Pages, Tomcat. Need to have general financial experience (10 years), Compliance, back office, or trading support * 5 to 10 years and team leadership. Any experience with Business analysis, technical writing, Project Management and a Series 7 license.
