Project entails assisting with the replacement of signature capture device units in the AT&T retail stores Job Description: (What will the contractor do on that project?) •Responsibilities include the removal of existing devices and the installation of new computer peripheral equipment at AT&T retail locations. •Installation may require moving existing equipment within furniture fixture and candidates must insure all equipment is installed to a level maintaining a professional appearance. •Equipment removed from the store will be returned to the office and packed for pickup. •Detailed instructions and training will be provided. •Peripheral equipment is boxed in 12x10x6 boxes. The individuals vehicle must be capable of safely transporting at minimum 20 peripheral boxes up to 180 miles from the contractors assigned AT&T work location. •Must provide detailed status of daily accomplishments. •Daily customer interaction requires good communication skills and professional appearance/attire. •Travel is expected to be 100%. •1 – 3 years experience in IT desktop support and End User Client customer service. •Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications in an enterprise environment. •Good written and oral communications skills. •Knowledge of systems diagnostic tools. •Must be able to lift 50 lbs and possess a current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. •Candidate must be equipped with personal vehicle (no rental fees will be covered) capable of transporting boxed computer equipment and peripherals. •All miles driven will be reimbursed via standard AT&T expense management processes outlined for contracted employees. •All applicable motor vehicle insurance coverage is applicable as established in the eCAM vendor agreement. Driver must exhibit all applicable DMV checks in order to be submitted to this position. •Please note per your contractual agreement with AT&T: Contractual terms under the Insurance section (Business Auto extraction below) covers the limit of liability the supplier has for each occurrence if there is an accident claim while using AT&T owned, hired (leased/rented), and non-owned (not owned by AT&T and maybe contractor’s personal vehicle). The liability is not on the contractor but the supplier of the contractor. It is also the supplier’s responsibility to do a thorough background check which would include a valid driver’s license and a DMV check.
