Job title : IVR Consultant Location : Scottsdale, AZ Contract Length : 5 Months Job Description: (voice xml is very important) Perform application design, development, and documentation. The resource will also provide maintenance support for all functional areas of the IVR application. The developer will perform analysis, design, implementation, unit testing (including internal quality assurance review), debugging, documentation, post-implementation support, and system enhancements. Responsible for IVR support during both normal business hours and after-hours. * 3+ years experience developing projects throughout the entire software development life cycle including requirements gathering, detailed design, development, testing, implementation and support. * Experience with Java, Java scripting, XML. Knowledge of VoiceXML and Nuance Voice Platform is a plus. * Familiarity with database (DB2 and MS SQL Server), as well as experience with Hibernate a plus. * Experience with UNIX and Windows 2003 platforms. * Demonstrated ability to work effectively and cross-functionally in IT and earn trust and respect. * Experience developing client server applications. * Excellent written and verbal communication. The Application Development Analyst is expected to develop and maintain applications demonstrating proficiency in system design, coding/testing, documentation, and project execution. Responsible for developing and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines. Responsible to work independently or participate in small to mid-size projects completing complex work requests under minimal guidance. Accountable to formulate/define system scope and objectives for deliverables ensuring established timelines and cost estimates are maintained. Provide ongoing production support and maintenance as assigned, which may include rotational 24x7 on-call support or code implementation efforts. Effectively present information and respond to questions either one-on-one or to groups, including formal presentations and regular status to management and business partners. Share technical and business expertise with other team members and business partners. Work to understand business, functional and technical issues to effectively apply technical solutions. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results. Participate in internal quality assurance review and post implementation support and system enhancements. At least 3 or more years of relevant application development experience with full SDLC in referenced skill set. Demonstrated successful completion of several small scope projects with proficiency working on all phases of SDLC. Solid knowledge of and experience with problem determination and resolution through research and fact-finding. Clear and concise communication skills are required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is preferred. If no degree, then one additional year of experience is required for each year of college not attained. High School Diploma or GED is a required.
