Job title : Business Analyst Location : Brooklyn, NY Contract Length : 12+ Months Job Description: The proposed candidates must have eight (8) years of experience in the following requirements: * Eight (8) years of experience in Developing business and functional requirements. * Eight (8) years of experience in successfully delivering software solutions. * Eight (8) years of experience in comprehensive knowledge of client server and web architecture. * Eight (8) years of Proven experience in user interface design, database design, application design, testing, conversion, implementation * Eight (8) years of experience in a comprehensive knowledge of system development life cycles and the project management methodologies. * Eight (8) years of experience in strong knowledge of project management tools like MS Visio, MS Project and UML. * Eight (8) years of experience in to understand and communicate the role of technology in the delivery of solutions. * Eight (8) years of experience in working with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design methodology and tools. Tasks and Duties: * Work closely with the users to understand business needs, translate business needs into detailed requirements, extract appropriate information from rich data sources, analyze results, and present findings and recommendations * Work closely with the technology team to define functional processes and requirements for the design of the web applications * Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and internal user requirements. Understand the business needs and ability to translate those needs into functional requirements. * Produce high quality functional specifications to be reviewed and referred by the development teams * Work with the Technical Project Leads and developers to ensure that they understand the overall business requirements and project objectives * Investigates and analyses problems, including impact analysis of change on all systems and business areas in order to recommend appropriate solutions * Should be having extensive knowledge of Net framework and object oriented concepts * Responsible for reviewing requirements, analyzing the impact of the requirements on development, and bringing any resulting issues to the attention of the project manager. * Participation in the development and preparation of documentation for, but not limited to, procedural, program and user documentation. * Participate in meetings with users to demonstrate the product.
