Looking for Mid-level testing consultant (4-5 yrs exp only). Client is not considering senior consultant for this position. Client is Hartford Insurance. And Insurance experience is must. Must be local. Position - Testing Consultant Location - Boston, MA Duration - 6 months Contract. Location: Location of the work assignment is downtown Boston. Occasional travel to Hartford (maximum once per week) may be required. This will be day trips; overnight travel is possible but not likely. Job Description: A Senior Testing Consultant is needed to help with test planning, test case development and test execution of a large application portfolio that is being upgraded as part of several infrastructure projects. The Testing Consultant should possess the following skills, experience and knowledge: Relevant Bachelor's Degree, specialized training, certification, or equivalent experience 3 to 4 years of proven Insurance or related industry experience in test planning, test case development and execution, involving full life cycle testing. Scope includes functional testing, unit testing, integration testing and regression testing of client server applications. Ability to work with peers and customers to quickly comprehend and test complex business applications. Ability to effectively document and communicate testing results and other issues with peers, business users and other project stakeholders. Experience in developing, overseeing and maintaining complex project documentation, including test approach, test planning, detail test plans and scripts, and other business/technical testing documentation. A strong team orientation, with proven customer service, teamwork, and mentoring experience in a technology environment Superior ability to organize work and time, using proactive thinking, organization, time management, and multi-tasking abilities. Strong working knowledge in IT/Business Claim or Reinsurance Operations, with understanding of accounting or financial data, process, and reporting is a plus. Mastery in knowledge and application of technical testing techniques. Requirements, testing or data modeling experience in a Data Warehousing environment is a plus.
