They purchased a small company 5 yrs ago and their business system ran on Oracle 8i.. They have kept it running and converted a lot of info, but the thing that keeps coming up is that they do a lot of medical devices and there is an issue of tracablity and that info is locked in the Oracle Database. Manager, who is well versed in SQL, can not get the database to play nicely. They are not licensed for Oracle anymore-just want to turn it on and get data out.
