5 years or more experience developing Web based application
based in a Unix environment using Java based technologies. 8 plus years
overall experience in the
software system development field. Experience with Java,
scripting, Linux/unix environment, web services development
highly desirable. Use of Oracle BPEL a definite plus.
Normally receives general instructions on non-routine or new
assignments. Decisions are made independently for most
work assignments. One to several tasks are assigned
concurrently with direction readily available. Contact is
typically informative in nature and involves the exchange of
routine or factual technical information. Typically deals with
internal contacts but may also have external contact.
Demonstrates basic knowledge in job-related functional area
and of the business. Bachelor?s degree or above in Computer
Science or related fields.
Major emphasis on Internet consulting and development and client server UNIX
based systems using SQL database driven technologies. Experience in object
oriented design, development, testing and implementation using Java, JSP,
HTML, XML, SQL and UNIX shell scripting. BPEL, STRUTS, Appache and Tomcat a
plus.
