Reply ASAP Location(State/city):California CA/SAN FRANCISCO Duration: 6-12 months LOCAL to CA Req Details: Sr. Business Intelligence Consultant Quality Assurance, Oracle, SQL, Data Warehousing, Business Objects Data Integrator, Business Objects, WebI, SQL, ETL, Testing, Manual testing, BODI, QA, PL/SQL immediate requirement of a Sr. BI Analyst having strong Data Analysis, PL/SQL, Business Objects Reporting and QA skills for one of our clients in CA. The consultant will be responsible for leading and performing Data Analysis, Performance Tuning of SQL, Analysing Business Objects reports and Quality Assurance duties throughout the ETL and Business Intelligence project lifecycle. The Consultant will work with Business analysts and developers to create strategy, write SQL queries, Oracle stored procedures, create test plans and test cases for all necessary BI projects and application releases. The scope of the testing will be from the source systems, through the ETL process to the Business Objects Reproting to the end-user application(s). It will also include the execution of test cases, the creation of department documentation, defect tracking and analysis. Qualifications: Ideal candidates MUST have 6+ years of experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and Business Objects XI along with 3+ years of experience with testing in a data warehouse and enterprise reporting environment. 5+ years of Data warehousing knowledge and technical experience Minimum of 2 years working in a UNIX environment Minimum of 5 years performing SQL queries to validate data Any experience with ETL such as Business Objects Data Integrator is a PLUS. Must have Full Life Cycle development experience. Must have working experience withMercury Quality Center and Clear case. Any experience with Mercury Winrunner is PLUS. Any onsite/offshore coordination experience is a BIG PLUS.
