Position: Oracle Developer with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Location(State/city):Michigan MI/GRAND RAPIDS
Duration: 6+ months
Required Details:
MUST Have :: Need a solid resource with strong Oracle Data Integrator
background along with strong PL/SQL. At least 7 years of PL/SQL.
Job Description:
. Follows and helps establish App. Dev. Software Quality Interface, IT
policies, procedures, and processes.
. Writes test cases, unit tests.
. Performs e xploratory testing.
. Understands a nd implements RDBMS data modeling concepts and has expertise
in a client/server environment (TOAD, SQL*Plus, etc.).
. Writes structured, maintainable and optimized code.
. Uses libraries when applicable, recommends and/or creates new shared
libraries and/or contributes to it when necessary.
. Is comfortable working in Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments.
. Implements source control concepts and adheres to source control standards.
. May be required to learn and share new languages or other technologies.
. Helps establish a technical solutions strategy that is integrated with the
overall corporation and makes sure all solutions fit into it.
Customer Service:
. Understands how the managed care business works and how App. Dev.
applications can be used to address the needs of the business.
Teamwork
. Collaborates with customers and other teams on the development, rollout and
support of App. Dev.
Applications.
. Performs a nd/or participates code reviews, design reviews, concrete
experiments.
. Delegates tasks when appropriate, and given opportunity.
Skills:
*Microsoft Excel
*Microsoft Project
*Microsoft Outlook
Required Skills:
. A minimum of eight years of software development experience that is
relevant to the application development team.
. Must possess an understanding of software engineering principles, and be
able to a rticulate compelling arguments for and against standards, roles, and
processes.
Expected to have an area of expertise within software engineering for which
he/she contributes to App. Dev. team.
. Must possess a strong knowledge of two or more relevant technologies (e.g.
SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Data Integrator, UNIX, Java, Perl, C++, C#,
Microsoft .Net Platform and RDBMS).
