Reply ASAP Location(State/city):Texas TX/HOUSTON Duration: 9 months Rates : $35/hr Req Details: The Senior QA Analyst is a member of an Agile Team which completes Unit, Integration and System level software testing. They create/execute test cases and regression test software for the new platform project. They must also have knowledge of testing automation, and may automate manual scripts. This individual must possess a strong knowledge of testing processes and be able to adapt these to an Agile/Scrum Model. This candidate will be the lead coordinator of work between the staff , other QA integration teams, and the client development and management teams. The Senior QA Analyst will initiate and complete all aspects of testing to include but not limited to the following: 1. Develop and maintain a Master Test Plan that defines all actions, deliverables, responsibilities and procedures to satisfy the user/customer quality and validation/qualification requirements 2. Coordinate QA work for all onsite contractors assigned to the new platform project 3. Coordinate deployments on a shared environment with other QA groups participating in the project 4. Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality 5. Perform Integration Testing between application and external application/data sources 6. Identify/work with development on the creation of test data needed for execution 7. Coordinate test environment setup and maintenance 8. Utilize Quality Center to record, report and track defects 9. Work with development team to resolve defects and any environment issues 10. Report test status to QA Manager and client management 11. Work with HP on the setup and continued administration of the SaaS platform of Quality Center 2. Work with the business to understand new requirements or track production issues Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience Experience: · 6 years as a QA tester, at least 3 years as a senior tester · Working knowledge of Microsoft Project · Working knowledge of SDLC - Software Development Life Cycle Desired Qualifications: · Experience in the mortgage industry · 2+ years experience in automation (QTP) Requirements: 1. 6+ years experience in Software Quality Assurance 2. Excellent command of written and spoken English 3. Previous experience in a lead role 4. Windows XP and MS Office experience 5. Experience working with Java/J2EE, XML, Oracle, and Web 6. Thorough understanding of TOAD or SQL Enterprise Manager and proficient with SQL Queries 7. The ability to manage multiple tasks, following through from start to completion with minimal supervision 8. Ability to write Test Plans, Test Scripts and Test Summary reports 9. Conduct walkthroughs with functional and technical personnel 10. Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team environment 11. 2+ years experience with HP Quality Center, QTP and Service Test 12. Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time 13. Proficient in testing processes, standards and methodologies 14.
