I have an urgent requirement and would appreciate you if you can forward to me any suitable profiles for this. * * *ROLE: *SAP ABAP Legacy Systems Interfaces** *Location: *Columbia, SC * Duration: 6 months* * * *Summary:* Working under the direction of the South Carolina Enterprise Information System (SCEIS) Architecture, Design and Technology* *Lead, candidates will provide technical development services related to the design, development, testing and on-going maintenance of SAP Interfaces, which is currently being implementing across South Carolina State government. The major components of SAP included are finance, budgeting, materials management, supplier relationship management, human resources and payroll modules. The SCEIS Legacy Interface Developer requested under this SOW develops interfaces exchanging data between SCEIS and legacy sytems. The position requires analyzing legacy system data and formatting it into and from Standard SAP interface formats. The candidate should have a good understanding of SAP data dictionary, SAP data fields, SAP Data Elements. Candidate should also have basic understanding of the SAP Finance, Material Management and HR/PY functionality. Interfaces will use SAP XI to bring data into and from SAP, so experience with SAP XI is a plus. The candidate must be strong in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. ** *Specific Duties and Responsibilities* · Develop and process SCEIS SAP system Interface programs and files · Assist with extracting and loading Legacy Data · Assist with testing of interfaces and error resolution · Troubleshoot, identify and resolve day to day problems that occur with interfaces · Facilitate interface process reviews and identify opportunities to improve existing interfaces Build interfaces based on specifications supplied by the SCEIS team Work with agencies to prepare data for SCEIS interfaces *Time-frame: *Positions to begin effective on or about 08/10/09; for approximately 6 months. Renewal for six (6) additional months. *LOCATION:* Positions will be based at the South Carolina Enterprise Information Systems Project Office, 1628 Browning Road, in Columbia, South Carolina. Computer network access, phone, and access to printers, copiers, and fax will be provided.
