Looking for a Senior Oracle developer with the minimum of 5 years software development experience
The ideal candidate for this position will need to be a task-oriented self-starter with good communication skills that works well in a fast-paced team environment. Previous experience with Energy transaction and risk management applications in the energy/financial industry will be an added advantage. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Candidates MUST have minimum of 5 years solid hands on experience in Oracle Forms, Reports 6i, Oracle 10g 2. Any experience on Oracle Advance queues is a plus 3. Supporting the Back office Module (Commodity and Derivative Accounting) of an Energy Transaction and Risk Management Application. 4. Maintenance as well as new and customized development of forms, complex-reports and interfaces between applications. 5. Collaborate with technology partners to identify functional area needs and solutions 6. Collaborate with external partners to provide business solution to enhance business process. 7. Research, analyze and prepare business and technical requirements on assigned projects, including ROI and other acquisition and integration business assessment analyses that will control scope and mitigate project risk. 8. Design, develop, test and implement solutions; help ensure IS alignment with functional area needs and business strategies. 9. Other duties as needed. Qualifications: 1. Candidates receiving consideration must have at least 5 years of experience developing and supporting Oracle Forms, Complex Reports, and packages. 2. Candidates are required to demonstrate advanced PL/SQL skills, how to design, create and manage database objects, understand and know how to create and troubleshoot functions, procedures and packages and have some working knowledge of when and how to implement query tuning techniques. 3. In addition, candidates must be willing to learn and master new technologies. Any .Net experience would be given additional consideration. 4. Good understanding of application frameworks, middle tier, WebService and SOA. 5. Good verbal and written communication skill to communicate with customers, external partners and teammates effectively. 6.
