( Locals highly prefered) Duration:3 to 6 Months START DATE MONDAY need URGENT Job Description Application Developer will work with the eCommerce development group to design, develop, and implement Endeca and ultimately integrate to WebSphere E-commerce applications. Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading the newly installed Endeca tool, while providing development assistance to the existing WCS systems and applications as required. Apply proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of best practices to assist the development team on issues related to the design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems. Assist with the development and deployment of Endeca, and/or enhancements to existing WebSphere commerce applications and integrations throughout the enterprise. Assist in indexing and tagging non-merchandise content to product content. Assist in the development of integrations between Endeca, WebSphere Commerce and other 3rd party systems as required. Provide best practice expertise on such development efforts, with a focus on the WCS Product Catalog. Ensure new software integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Extensive experience with Endeca search platform (Endeca Commerce Suite and IAP) including applications development, integration and systems administration. Knowledge and ability to develop within the following Endeca components: Developer Studio, Web Studio, MDEX engine, index build and propagation process. Required Experience: Extensive working experience with the Endeca search platform (Endeca Commerce Suite and IAP) including applications development, integration and systems administration Practical knowledge and ability to develop within the following Endeca components: Developer Studio, Web Studio, MDEX engine, index build and propagation process 5+ years direct experience in WebSphere E-commerce development and/or programming design and systems management on multiple technology platforms WebSphere Commerce Catalog Module expertise required 8+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management on multiple technology platforms Direct, hands-on experience with automated software and system management tools. Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and Methodologies Technically fluent in several programming languages Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc. Knowledge of database design and file management techniques Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks & Regards, Ravi Sama | Zenmonics Inc.
