Hi, Title : Sr. Business Process Designers
Location : Portland, OR Duration : 6-9 month contract Job Description ; The Business Process Designer will serve as a consultative business partner to client groups on business issues. Lead business process improvement teams for the evaluation of current-state and designing future state processes to achieve business goals and streamline activities. The Business Process Designer will research and leverage best-in-class processes from other industries so that process/technology projects can be fully optimized in delivering solutions and benefits to the business. *Job Responsibilities:* •Develop an enterprise view of business processes, identifying cross-functional relationships and interdependencies. •Develop business process relationship maps, functional relationship maps, cross-functional maps and work flow diagrams •Lead process improvement teams through process methodologies that will aid in requirements definition and implementation of processes and solutions •Research industry trends, best practices and improvement opportunities from all sectors. •Develop change management plans with particular emphasis on a process-oriented approach. •Serve as a consultative business partner to client groups on business process design patterns, principles and techniques. •Participate in the development and maintenance of process methodologies, documentation and tools. •Develop process metrics and ensure functional ownership is established for continuous improvement. •Recommend process improvements to reduce waste and continuously improve performance *Experience and Education:* · Bachelor’s degree in business, psychology, information technology or equivalent experience · Three years experience in process management · Professional certification required: One or more certifications in process improvement methodologies or performance management. · Two years experience in information technology, preferably in business architecture, systems analysis, business analysis, or requirements engineering. · Two years experience in a relevant business area leading cross-functional teams through process transformational and re-engineering efforts · Three years experience with process methodologies and tools for business process analysis and design · Experience in formal project management, change management and systems development methodologies · Experience in developing process performance dashboards · Experienced in working within a matrix organization and demonstrating influencing leadership · Training experience preferred, but not required · Consulting experience preferred, but not required · Experience in implementing and maintaining process standards and tools *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:* · High learning agility, demonstrated in prior experience · Strong conceptual, analytical and design skills · Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to drive to solutions · Superior verbal and written communication skills · Ability to articulate and share vision and processes · Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills · Strong business acumen · Creative and innovative/complex problem solver *Working Conditions:* Work is to be performed in a standard office environment.
