Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate/mentor effectively and clearly, in writing and/or orally, both in one-on-one and group presentation situations with strong skills in leading/controlling/organizing technical meetings Coordinate with individual Department Program Leads and vendors to define and track requirements of system enhancements, coordinate development, oversee test events, and plan system release package roll-out. Most tasks will relate to the DEP’s Regulatory Services Portal (RSP). The RSP is a multi tier J2EE web based system which allows regulated entities to submit online applications and reports. This project manager should have prior expereince managing a team of junior-intermediate level programmers and be accustomed to working with ad-hoc development methodologies. Must be hands-on, detailed oriented and have the ability to prioritize issues and drive progress in ambiguous situations THIS POSITION IS FOR PART-TIME HOURS THAT ARE SOMEWHAT FLEXIBLE.
