Provide first and second level production support to Equities booking
applications.  

Own, address and resolved issues raised by business or IT users thru emails,
phone call via hotline.  Will be required to work occasionally on the
weekend or at night.

.         Acquire technical and business knowledge necessary to provide
level 1&2 support of Equities booking applications

.         Own, address and resolve production support issues raised by users
via any method.

.         Issue prioritization and escalation. Escalate critical issues to
manager. Send out incident/service impact notifications for critical issues.

.         Raising of incident tickets for every issue and ensure that it is
updated appropriately

.         Document issues and resolutions and save it on the team's approved
knowledge base

.         Provide 'Follow The Sun Support ' (FTSS) with Singapore team.

.         Bug fixes, and other internal development work as the workload
permits

.         Planning, coordination and execution of production deployment of
system upgrades and emergency fixes.

.         Functional testing of the system upgrades, as well as disaster
recovery tests

.   Minimum 3 years experience in application development or support role
utilizing the following technologies: Unix, Windows, and Sybase or Oracle
environments

.   Proficient in writing SQL queries, 3 years solid experience in Oracle or
Sybase.

.   Familiary with PERL and Unix shell scripting

.   Excellent problem solving and analytical skills

.   Mininum 2 years in technical support experience

.   BS / BA Required in Computer Science or related field

HTML/ASP

C++/C

Batch schedules (eg. ControlM)

MQ Series

The role will be part of the Production Support Group (PSG) - Cash
Securities CSAR support team in Raleigh. The team provides a follow-the-sun
support (FTSS) of CSAR applications between Raleigh and Singapore, providing
24x6 coverage.  CSAR is a suite of applications that sits between front
office trade booking systems and NTPA back-office settlements systems.  CSAR
performs trade validation and enrichment, compression, netting, exception
handling and customer confirmation.
