Practical experience in the key disciplines of object-oriented software engineering including OOA, OOD, OOP, and testing of OO systems is required. Since managing video assets stresses many elements of general purpose computing infrastructures, the Developer is required to have solid system engineering (e.g., technical and application architectures, database, operating systems, networking) skills in addition to application development skills. Very strong working knowledge and heavy duty experience with Java and J2EE is also necessary. Strong Spring, Hibernate, JMS, required. Understanding of design patterns and agile software development methodologies is necessary.
