------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Position: Lead Storage Systems Admin Location(State/city):Illinois IL/MOLINE Duration: 12 months Rate: $50-55/hr SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES: * Lead project initiatives for new products and implementations of new and improvements to existing hardware and software storage technologies that meet our enterprise customer needs. * Provide system support, programming and problem analysis as needed for projects that typically span multiple departments, in support of the mainframe enterprise storage infrastructure. * Recommend cost reductions, service improvements and automation that improve our mainframe storage management services. * Provide project management, day-to-day programming and analysis support and planning for enterprise mainframe disk, System and User Catalogs, data replication (PPRC), FlashCopy, Systems Managed Storage (SMS) routines, and mainframe I/O configurations (IOCDS). * Maintain and create documentation related to the above system components.In addition, create and maintain documentation for Standard OperatingProcedures and Disaster Recovery Procedures. * Provide operational and customer support activities as needed for existing and new storage technologies. Required Skills: * In-depth understanding of current enterprise class disk storage technology. * In-depth mainframe System Programming skill, including TSO/ISFP, JCL and SMP/e Basic mainframe. * Knowledge of SAS programming language. * Basic understanding and prior work with DFSMS routines and DFHSM. * Basic understanding and prior work with IOCDS and HCD.
