Job Description Responsible for day to day problem analysis, change implementation, capacity planning, performance analysis, performance tuning, and system admin. *Essential Skills:* - Over 7 years experience as a *UNIX system administrator*. - Experience with *PeopleSoft Application DBA activities including PIA administration, configuration and tuning*. - Strong experience with *AIX and UNIX shell scripting* - Experience administering a highly available, multi-server Peoplesoft environment on a production support capacity. - Experience with PeopleSoft Client, PeopleTools, App Server, BEA WebLogic/Tuxedo/Jolt, Process Schedulers, Change Assistant, App Designer, Data Mover, Integration Broker, Crystal Enterprise. - PeopleSoft product installation and upgrade, application server administration, monitoring and tuning of PeopleSoft performance. - *Previous experience in the role of technical upgrade specialist on upgrade projects to HCM 9.0 * - Understanding of data structure changes between application releases and impact to application functionality - Proven experience as a technical lead in large and complex HRIS upgrade projects - Experience directing, leading, managing, and mentoring technical staff - Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision both independently and as part of a team - Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills - Experience working with Solaris 10 and Linux OS. - UNIX system administrator training - Shell programming and troubleshooting. - Experience with shell scripting languages. *Knowledge of the following applications is a plus: * - PeopleSoft - Oracle - weblogic 9 - Oracle 10gAS - Autosys. *Knowledge of the following technologies a plus: * - NAS - SAN - RAID - NFS - ZFS - Clustering - DNS - LDAP. -- *Warm Regards Ravi InfowareTech Inc Phone: 972-325-1264*1862 Fax: 214-350-4142 Email: [email protected] www.infowaretech.com HUB | MBE | WBENC Certified.* Please reply with “REMOVE” in the subject line if you do not wish to get emails from us in the future.
