Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: Middleware Infrastructure Engineer Position: 2 Duration: 1 year Location: Reston, VA Interview: Immediate Description: This position is responsible for implementing BSC on various middleware platforms (WebLogic, webMethods, Apache) and developing tools to automate the monitoring & reporting of the BSC baseline compliancy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coding/testing the tools using UNIX sheel script and BladeLogic, facilitating technical meetings, documenting requirements and ensuring their completeness, assisting with the documentation of the tools developed, mapping requirements to controls and ensuring compliance, coordinating Prod implementation. Skill: - Mid-level (3-7 yrs) - Overall knowledge of web middleware platforms + excellent UNIX Shell scripting = best choice for this position - Knowledge of Apache, Weblogic, and Web Methods. Candidate not required to have all three but its preferred. - Mastery of UNIX Shell Scripting will be used to scan the Apache, Weblogic, and webMethods platforms for security compliance issues. Each instance of the middleware on each computer box will either pass or not pass b/c of security issues. After each scan a plain text report will be generated that will detail each specific deficiency so that action can then get under way. - Consultant will work between the platform support and the system security baseline project to bridge the gap created when the existing platform support folks were pulled to this project. - Solaris 8/9/10 and Linux SUSE experience is required. - Good working knowledge of Remedy Experience with BladeLogic a great plus Comments: - This is NOT a J2EE developer position. - 40 hours per week expected with potential after-hour schedule (need to be willing to work on shifts) Thanks & Regards Acer Mc Entellects Corp.
