Crosscheck the Highlighted Skills before Submission Requirement: Title: Lawson Financials Consultant (GCs/US Citzs Only) Position: 2 Duration: 6 months C-T-H Location: Reston, VA Rate: Quote Your Best Interview: Immediate Description: The Lawson Application Consultant is responsible for assisting with the design, construction, testing, and deployment of software systems and products for our client. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: - Provides technical leadership in multiple technologies, including system architectures, programming languages, database management systems, and hardware and networking technologies. - Develops and maintains an advanced understanding of contemporary technologies and methodologies including; architecture software design, construction, and deployment best practices, and component performance testing. - Understand the theoretical and practical aspects of technology and the ability to apply this understanding to communicate corporate / project benefits and risks. - Provide / assists with, project management and project leadership. - Provide technical support to third parties regarding the use, understanding, design, and implementation of client products, providing end user and on-site support when required. - Supervise / manage technical resources.n Principal Relationships: Internal Contacts: - Maintains regular contacts with staff with the purpose of coordinating activities, and scheduling and collaborating, to produce work. Participate in supervising staff, consultants, and vendors and contributes to decisions regarding selection or evaluation. External Contacts: - Maintains frequent contacts with members, customers and vendors with a moderate impact on the image, reputation and/or business or operational well-being of the client. Minimum Qualifications: Education/Experience - Bachelors Degree in a related field, plus additional related college courses or professional training, and ten to twelve years of directly-related, progressively responsible work experience, including supervisory experience. Related Skills & Other Requirements: - Strong and evolving competence in several programming languages and technologies, mastery of multiple tools sets, technologies and implementation environments - Advanced knowledge of programming language, relational database management systems, networking technology, multiple desk operating systems and multiple server operating systems - Experience in gathering requirements, designing, implementation, QA, and documentation of software solutions - Knowledge of the following applications: Version 9 Lawson Financials and HR, LBI and SA. - Functional and Administration experience on LSF9. - Lawson Security set up and maintenance experience. - Knowledge of Process flow and Design Studio - Ability to set up new Lawson Environments and install environments and application patches. - Must have coding experience in Cobol and Java Script. - Crystal Enterprise experience and the ability to write and review T-SQL Queries - Understanding of the design, set up, and maintenance of SQL Server and Windows - Involvement in data modeling process and database design. - Strong customer service orientation - Strong problem solving and analytic skills - Ability to manage and utilize human resources in the accomplishment of objectives - Willingness and ability to travel and regularly visit vendor sites.
