Conduct structured walk-throughs or inspections; manage issues to closure. The candidate will be required to create user/training guide for the end user. Ensure work remains within the agreed scope. Track workplan baseline against results. Proactively identify and manage issues/risks affecting the project. Communicate accurate and useful status to Group Lead and other management on a timely basis. Develop and deepen understanding of system business requirements supported by the Application Team. Communicate clearly the Application Team goals, organizational philosophies, and policies and procedures to the Application Teams. Understand business process and operations, including familiarity with HIPPA. Design product architecture on an enterprise level to expand and incorporate new system functionality for IMODS and integration with other DHSS enterprise applications. Experience with architecting and implementing J2EE, expertise in components design using Java and strict adherence to J2EE design patterns Experience in design and development modular re-usable components for Java Enterprise Applications using UML, Rational Analyze or recommend commercially available software or other IT architectural components Prioritize work and establish deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor progress of team members Anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting own work and work of the project team. Develop contingency plans as necessary.
