*Overview:*
The consultant will provides Subject matter expertise with Teradata v2r6 or
greater for a large global Healthcare organization. Must have experience
implementing best practices based BI solutions that will enable detailed
data to be dramatically simplified. Experience using Teradata TPT is a plus
*Requirements:*
1. Must have exp 2-3yrs exp leading/architecting Data Warehouse
projects utilizing *Teradata* with Oracle.
2. Must have SME architecting Data and ETL architectures on Teradata
& oracle
* **i.** **Experience with loading data from
Oracle to Teradata*
* **ii.** **Experience with using Informatica
with Teradata*
* **iii.** **Experience with standalone Teradata
utilities*
* **iv.** **Must have prior exp gathering
business requirements and functional specifications*
3. Teradata certification(s) required…Master level preferred
4. Must be able to perform database Architecture activities
including:
i. creating data models
ii. building ETL processes,
iii. dimensional data modeling primarily star
schema,
iv. performing data migration,
v. defining user interfaces,
vi. executing large projects,
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project
