SAP Business Objects Architect 6 month contract 100% travel - Dallas TX We Maxsys Solutions has partnered with an international provider of business process management. We are looking for a Lead SAP BI/Business Objects Architect. This person will collaborate with both client and other team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deploy solutions. Support sales efforts as required to develop RFP responses, attend sales calls, demo SAP, and assist in staffing model development for potential opportunities. The role includes training and mentoring junior team members by assisting them with SAP learning and general consulting skill set development. SAP Primary Responsibilities: . Define & execute a reporting strategy utilizing strategic use of information that will allow the end user to create reports . Work with the IT Functional and Technical counterparts to define, build and run the BI landscape . Establish service requirements for solutions. Requirements will include availability and performance of reporting infrastructure . Design SAP BW and other BI solutions based on customer requirements including data modeling, technical design, coding, testing, training, documentation, trouble shooting, performance tuning & custom reporting . Evaluate & implement ETL, dimensional design and other related Data Warehouse tools to aid in Business Intelligence & corporate reporting landscape . Develop programs, where appropriate to, extract data for reporting environment . Perform data warehousing tasks including data modeling, extract/transform/load processes, job scheduling, indexing, and OLAP processing, defining and using aggregates based on queries and execution plans . Configure and customize BW objects including Info Cubes, ODS Objects, Multi-Cubes / Multi-Providers, Info Objects, Info Sources, Info Packages, Transfer Rules, Update Rules, Process Chains, ETL jobs, etc . Provide sales support to SAP Practice leadership and sales associates. Provide specific content pieces as assigned for RFP response development, participate on sales calls, and provide expertise for scoping and modeling with regard to Interface Development . Continually expand existing knowledge of SAP BI process. Research upcoming releases, review trends within SAP CCS and utilities as a sector, and help identify formal training opportunities for skill set development SAP Minimum Qualifications: . Bachelors Degree in MIS, Business, Accounting, Computer Science or other related field preferred . Experience with BO Universes . Experience with Xcelsius . Experience with Web Intelligence (Webi) . Experience with Crystal / SAP implementation . Experience with on / off shore working teams . 8+ years of business intelligence development experience . 5+ years working with business intelligence in a SAP environment SAP Desired Skills: . Formal training or certifications in Business Objects . Big System Integrator experience in consulting practices, methodologies and tools . Previous experience leading teams of 3+ people . 3 plus project lifecycles . SAP BI experience with ECC 6.0, IS-U, CRM 2007 or later . Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions in a remote environment, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface with high-level business and operation leaders . Proven ability to conceptualize and communicate complex ideas into simple comprehensible visual constructs . We are looking for an SAP Lead Billing Management Consultant. SAP consultant will collaborate with both client and other team members to gather requirements, develop solutions, and deploy solutions. The SAP role includes training and mentoring junior team members by assisting them with SAP learning and general consulting skill set development. SAP Primary Responsibilities: . Gathers and prioritizes relevant SAP Business requirements and designing appropriate IS-U Billing solution . Interfaces with Business Stakeholders, IT Infrastructure teams, Development teams to ensure that business requirements are properly configured within SAP and 3rd Party applications . Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between separate functional modules of SAP and designs and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge . Provides alternatives based on best practices and SAP functionality . Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing . Defines test scenarios to cover full scope of the business as well as creating master data and carry out the unit, cycle and integration tests . Coordinate User Acceptance testing (UAT) with the Business Client . Provide sales support to SAP Practice leadership and sales associates. SAP consultant should have experience with working with remote and offshore teams . 5+ years working in a SAP Utilities environment . Previous experience leading teams of 3+ people . SAP experience with ECC 6.0, and IS-U . Demonstrated experience developing constructive relationships with key stakeholders, such as middle management, clients and team members . Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions in a remote environment, evaluate people, manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment and effectively interface with high-level business and operation leaders . Outstanding coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization . SAP Consultant should have proven ability to conceptualize and communicate complex ideas into simple comprehensible visual constructs .
