Reply ASAP Location(State/city):Dis. Of Columbia DC/WASHINGTON Duration: 3-6 months Req Details: Test Lead with EDI and a strong background in Software Quality Assurance. The EDI Test lead must be a specialized HIPAA EDI professional with strong experience in the Healthcare Insurance industry and in-depth knowledge of the Claim Adjudication process. The EDI Tester will: * Create and modify 837 EDI files based on business conditions and scenarios. * Troubleshoot and solve any issues relating to HIPAA compliant EDI files. * Be able to tweak 837 EDI file to generate a wide variety of valid claims, and have the ability to create 837 EDI files that will exercise negative and exception conditions for Adjudication-related business scenarios. * Analyze business and technical specifications and design test cases. * Perform full lifecycle testing of the application, both manually and using various tools. * Develop test cases to fully exercise the application under development. * Analyze the results of all phases of testing in order to provide recommendations to various project management teams. * Report and track defects in Quality Center. REQUIREMENTS: * 7+ years of Testing experience. * Ability to create (or tweak) 837 EDI files. * Strong knowledge of Oracle database and the ability to write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required data. * be able to quickly troubleshoot issues with automated test tool and be familiar with how to configure it * Experience testing internet-based applications. * Familiar with the concepts and tools for bug tracking and resolution. * Experience with the entire QA lifecycle. * Good understanding of web based service-level interaction, able to debug / trace low level HTTP / HTTPS data interchange.
