Work with Lead Enterprise Architects, Sr. Technical Architects and project-specific architects to understand key J2EE enterprise standards and application requirements. Formulate Enterprise Infrastructure strategy, approach, standards, and procedures. Ensure appropriate capabilities for vertical and horizontal expansion of the Application Server Infrastructure. Ensure that projects are supported with the required Dev, Test, thru Pre-Production environments as agreed, with the correct Service Levels. Install and support core Weblogic and WebSphere Application Server software and Integration Common Services Develop approaches to Weblogic and WebSphere Environment Monitoring and Management. Define Standards, Guidelines and Rules. Communicate and report task-level status to the System Engineering team. Establish and maintaining Storage Management and Backup/Recovery Support and update BCP Disaster Recovery Plan.
