* Minimum 6 years experience as a business analyst with
experience in project management.
* This BA/PM's primary focus is on collecting requirements,
planning delivery of those requirements and leading and coordinating with
technical team members (Developers, Quality Technicians and
other Stakeholders) on delivery.
* This role also entails managing the project from a tactical
sense (deliverables and timelines as well as budget) directly with clients.
* This role has a high degree of customer interaction and
requires someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* It also requires someone with planning experience that can
plan and coordinate development efforts. In some cases content creation or
configuration can be done by a BA in the SharePoint or Cisco Media Server.
* This role will also coordinate with any partners that may be
used to deliver solutions from a business/requirements aspect.
* Expectations for these technical BA positions is the ability
to design and configure sites. This might include site creation and
configuration, CSS, XSL and basic HTML as well as
content. These skills are very important to these roles so candidates should
have experience working with these technologies.
* These roles will also be responsible for initial quality
assurance checks and coordinating full quality assurance with either clients
or QA staff for larger projects.
* Experience and knowledge using Web 2.0 technologies is
required and exposure to creating solutions using SharePoint (MOSS 2007) to
enable these technologies if preferred.
